Cursed to Remain

The Cursed to Remain is an experimental, devised theater/film piece by Bryan Jackson. An early German folk story about a boy cursed by his father is used to frame a series of performed fears, failures and lingering embarrassments drawn from the actors lived experiences. The project was developed thru an acting workshop for young directors and visual artists led by Jackson in the UCI DigiFilm program. The film features a score by composer Steve Cheih-Wei Chiu.
