The Gay Lesbian Alliance for Resource and Education (GLARE) at Emporia State University joined the tradition of fraternities and sororities displaying their greek letters (cut from 4×8′ plywood) during the home games at Welch Stadium. Melanie, Andy, Susan and I painted the GLARE sign in the backyard of my apartment. The next morning, we arrived early and landed the best spot. While we had a great time at the game, others were less enthused with our display of school spirit.
